Heavy, swirling, and effects laden, this post rock outfit takes that driving, almost hypnotic landscape that makes up much of the genre and smacks you in the chops with it. Then, you're drawn back for more, a glutton for more sensory abuse. You know you love this stuff, this music without words, though much more embracing than wearing a suit to hear Concerto in E minor in some stuffy hall. This music pounds against your temples, but in a wholly sublime manner.

Coming in 8 songs and clocking at 54 minutes, this ain't punk music, folks. I have to search, sometimes high and low for this stuff, especially any with a spiritual connection. Saxon Shore they come close to in my estimation, but have a more indie sound. Favorite tracks include "First Breath Of Life", "After Death" and "Requiem", though the disc is close to flawless. Grab a copy of this while they are still relative unknowns and immerse yourself in this communal celebration of life.
